Política de privacidad de Sísifo para iPhone

Última actualización: 10 de octubre de 2026

Escribir no te suscribe a ninguna comunicación comercial.

Sísifo for iPhone privacy policy

Last updated: 10 October 2026

1. Scope

This policy explains what data the Sísifo iPhone app processes in its current version, and why. It does not cover other products. You do not have to accept anything to read it. This page and the support page, at www.sisifo.me and at the Railway address sisifo-legal-production.up.railway.app, use no scripts, forms, analytics or third-party resources; Sísifo sets no cookies of its own and keeps no visit logs of its own. They are hosted on Railway, which as the hosting provider may log technical data about visits (such as IP address, time or the page requested) to provide and protect its service, under its privacy policy. If you visit sisifo.me without “www”, GoDaddy, the domain registrar, redirects the request to www.sisifo.me and may process technical data about that request under its privacy policy.

2. Controller and contact

The controller is Carlos Megías Luzón, the developer of Sísifo. For any privacy or support question, write to sisifoapp@gmail.com.

3. What stays on your iPhone

Sísifo has no accounts or sign-in and does not send your content to a server of its own. The app keeps the following in its local storage on the device:

Your balance and statistics are calculated on the iPhone from your history and are not sent anywhere. The controller has no access to this data, except what you choose to send when you write to support. It may be included in system backups or transfers (for example iCloud or a backup on your computer) depending on how your device is set up; those copies are managed by Apple or by you, not by Sísifo. Sísifo offers no cloud backup or recovery of its own, and adds no encryption of its own to this data beyond the system's protections.

4. Export and deletion

Export. In Settings › Your data you can create a JSON file with your plan, history and preferences. The iOS share sheet opens and you choose the destination; when it finishes, the app deletes its temporary file. Whatever you share is subject to the destination you choose.

Delete. In the same section you can delete Sísifo's data from the device. When you do, the app also tries to cancel pending reminders; if it cannot, it tells you, and you can turn off Sísifo notifications in iPhone Settings. Deleting the app also removes it, except for any system backups you keep. Please note that deleting data or the app does not cancel your subscription (managed in your Apple account settings), does not remove purchase records held by Apple or RevenueCat or the purchase system's identifier, and Sísifo cannot recover deleted history.

5. Reminders

Reminders are optional. If you turn them on, iOS asks for permission and the app schedules local notifications on the iPhone itself. No remote push notifications are used and no push token is generated. The notification text is generic and does not include the names of your commitments. You can turn them off in the app or withdraw permission in iOS Settings at any time.

6. Purchases: Apple and RevenueCat

Using Sísifo requires a purchase or subscription on the App Store. Apple handles payment and your account under its own privacy policy; the controller does not receive your card details.

To show offers, validate and restore purchases and check whether you have access, the app includes the RevenueCat, Inc. SDK, which processes this data on the controller's behalf. The app does not assign it an identifier of its own or send it your name or email: the SDK generates a random pseudonymous identifier. As the provider describes, RevenueCat may process that identifier, transaction and receipt information (for example product, dates and purchase or subscription status), your access status, and technical data such as system, app and SDK versions, device type, IP address and the technical activity needed to provide and protect the service.

RevenueCat receives your purchase history, but not your commitments, checkboxes, day history or consistency statistics. The controller may view purchase statistics (such as new purchases, renewals or revenue) in the RevenueCat dashboard to manage the app; they are not an analysis of your habits.

7. Email support

If you write to the support address, your email address, the content of your message and any attachments you choose to send are processed only to reply to you. The mailbox runs on Gmail, provided by Google. Writing does not subscribe you to any marketing communications.

8. What Sísifo does not do

Sísifo shows no ads, includes no usage or habit analytics tools, does not track you across apps or websites for advertising, does not use your location and does not sell your data.

9. Legal bases

Reminders are an optional feature you ask for. The iOS notification permission is a technical system control: you can withdraw it at any time, and you can also turn reminders off in the app.

10. Who may receive data

Apple (App Store and payments), RevenueCat (purchases, on the controller's behalf), Google (support email), Railway (hosting of these web pages and any technical visit logs), GoDaddy (redirecting sisifo.me to www.sisifo.me) and authorities where the law requires it. Your data is not sold or shared for advertising.

11. International transfers

RevenueCat, Apple, Google, Railway and GoDaddy may process data outside the European Economic Area, in particular in the United States. These providers explain in their policies the safeguards they apply to such transfers under the GDPR; for RevenueCat, its data processing agreement details the ones it offers. You can read them through the links below or ask the contact address for more information.

12. How long data is kept

13. Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction and objection, and withdraw consent where it is the basis for processing. For data stored on your iPhone you can do this directly: view, correct, export and delete it in the app. For purchase or support data, write to sisifoapp@gmail.com. Because Sísifo does not know your name and has no accounts, we may need some detail to locate your purchase, such as the order ID on your Apple receipt. For your Apple account, contact Apple directly. You can also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) or another competent supervisory authority.

14. Security

Local data stays in the app's sandbox on iOS, and purchase communications go through Apple's and RevenueCat's systems over encrypted connections. No system is infallible: protecting your iPhone with a passcode also helps protect your history.

15. Changes

If the way data is processed changes, for example with new features, this policy and its date will be updated. When the change is significant, you will be informed through an appropriate channel.
